I just felt the urge to write an up to date review of this product. Think about it; for less than the price of 2 booster packs, you get 50 cards. In itself that is remarkable value. Like a booster pack. of course you cannot pick the cards you get, but there seems to have been some thought applied to each packs' contents. Each of the packs I've ordered have had a good balance of colours and artifacts (even the occasional land) from a wide selction of expansions and none (so far) have contained more than 2 of any one card. I've found that the older cards are fun to surprise my friends with, while the newer ones fill gaps in my collection. I'm not going to play all the cards regularly, but that is a small concern compared to how useful these packs are.
All-in-all, a highly reccomended product.
