„¡Buenos días, señoras y señores!“ And welcome to the world of LOS MUNCHOS – a game of oat biscuits, hungry donkeys and fateful mill wheels.

Three happy donkeys (wooden pieces) trot around the  mill. Players take turns to turn over different cards and feed the donkeys by stuffing the wooden oatcakes  into their mouths. Occasionally a donkey does what well fed donkeys do, and relives himself of the extra weight. Before this happens, players secretly guess which colour  the donkey’s droppings will be! As soon as the donkey has lifted up his tail and the oat biscuits have fallen down, they are distributed among the players who guessed correctly.

Since the donkeys are permanently moving, you will need a keen mind in order to memorize which cakes are in which donkey’s stomach. At the end of the game , the player with the most oatcakeswins.

LOS MUNCHOS is an amusing game for sombrero wearers with a good memory – and a preference for donkeys’ droppings. ¡Caramba!
