Developed by Sabretooth Games and based on Games Workshop's successful strategy wargame of the same name, Warhammer 40,000 thrusts the player deep into the future where mankind is surrounded by hostile alien empires.

Using a combination of cards and dice, Warhammer is a CCG set in the traditional style and allows players to take on the aspect of one of the races of the Warhammer universe, each with its own skills and strengths (the invasive nature of Chaos, for example, interferes with your opponent's deck and strategy, whilst the Eldar use their natural speed to their advantage). Such is the style of the game that each action by a player contributes to the continuous narrative of battle in a way not often seen in this kind of CCG.

Battle for Pandora Prime

The basic set available for Warhammer, Battle for Pandora Prime gives players access to four races: the insidious forces of Chaos, the brutal Orks, the noble Space Marines, and the graceful Eldar. The game draws its forces from the background of Warhammer 40,000 and as such players can field Eldar Aspect Warriors and Wraithguard, Chaos Daemons and Dreadnoughts, or almost any other units available in the tabletop game. Add to this the usual mix of supplementary cards and you have the ingredients for a diverse and exciting game.

Expansion sets

Following on from the success of the base set, Coronis Campaign throws two more races into the fray allowing players to utilise the crushing firepower and armoured might of the Imperial Guard or the horror of the bizarre biotechnology that is the Tyranid swarm.
