Welcome to the world of Heroclix. Based on the incredibly popular Mageknight system, Heroclix allows you to build a team of heroes or villains to battle against your foe.

As with Mageknight the playing pieces are prepainted miniatures that in this case represent a well-known comicbook character. Almost all the information you need is on the base of the figure so you don't need to memorise pages and pages of complex rules - when your character takes damage simply rotate the combat dial to see what changes it makes to their abilities!

Collecting Heroclix

Most characters in Heroclix come in three skill levels: Rookie, Experienced and Veteran - which in CCG terms roughly correspond to Common, Uncommon and Rare - the most collectable characters though are those that come as 'Unique'. Some characters such as Cyclops or Ultron have a Unique version in addition to the more common ones but the most powerful characters such as The Vision, Quasar, and Thanos only exist as Unique, making them the most sought after both by gamers and collectors.
