The rules are quite simple. There are 20 card art fragments taken from products that we sell. Each fragment
has a random point value from one to twenty. The contest page will
have the fragment, followed by a text box for guessing, and finally
a guess button. You will only be able to guess once per fragment,
so make each guess count. Your guess must be EXACTLY how the
card's name appears on the card, complete with punctuation and capitalization.
Please remember each answer is case sensitive. Once any player
has either guessed correctly 10 times, or has used up all twenty
guesses, that player's participation for that month will have
ended. Unfortunatly, due to cheating in our last contests, there
is to be only one entry per person/organisation/household/address/location.
How to Play:
ONLY USE
the card's name, DO NOT put
the set/expansion it is from. DO USE any punctuation [(')(:)(-)(,)]
that is included in the cards name. DO USE correct spacing
between words. (As it is seen on the card) DO NOT abbreviate
a cards name: CoP: Blue is incorrect, Circle of Protection:
Blue is correct. At the begining of
the month points for the contest are generated randomly. Guess
correctly, and you will recieve those points. Guess incorrectly,
and you will recieve zero (0) points, and the card will not be available for you to guess on again.
In the case of a tie, those contestants will be ranked by the number of total guesses. Prizes
will not be issued for consecutive contest winners.
The contest will close on the 31st December. 2005. Prizewinners will be contacted soon after
PRIZES:
1st place: £25.00 of store credit.
2nd place: £15.00 of store credit.
3rd place: £ 5.00 of store credit.
4th place: £ 5.00 of store credit.
LEGAL:
Valid registration information is required. Incomplete or bogus entries WILL be deleted.
Duplicate entries will be disregarded
This contest is open to worldwide participation except where prohibited or restricted by law.
This contest is not open to British Collectible Cards Employees or their relatives.
The decision of British Collectible Cards in this competition are final.
